MOJO BLUESMEN are the real deal. They live in their van & tour non-stop, playing their raw style of dirty powerhouse blues anywhere they can find an audience, from street corners to the biggest and best festivals all over Australia. MB is made up of 2 very talented musicians, Kiam Adcock (impromptu vocals and harmonica) and Tim Everett (slide guitar, stomp box and fuel can). They met in Jan 2007 when Tim, who was on a solo trip around Australia, called into Port Macquarie one day when Kiam was there busking with his harmonica. Tim chucked $20 in Kiams moneybox, told him he played a bit of blues guitar, and asked him if he wanted to jump in for the ride... and so MOJO BLUESMEN was born, and 2 minutes later they were a touring duo. Primarily a busking act, MB have also shared the bill with names like Bob dylan, BB King, ZZ Top, CW Stoneking, Jeff Lang,Tony joe White, Xavier Rudd etc etc. MB featured at this years East Coast Blues and Roots festival at byron bay and Festival of the Sun at Port Macquarie. They have played gigs for rival outlaw bikie gangs, remote mine camps and even were resident band at a strip club. In the 4 years they have been together, MB have clocked up over 1500 busking gigs, sold in excess of 10000 cds from their guitar case and exposed their raunchy style of blues and intoxicated hundreds of thousands of people in the streets all the way around Australia. Since forming Mojo Bluesmen – the duo have recorded two CD's "Whiskey and Women" and "Dirty love". MB's influences include 'old school blues', like Muddy Waters, Sonny Terry, Robert Johnson, etc. Along with more contemporary acts such as Ash Grunwald, Dallas Frasca, The Fumes, Marshall, Chase the Sun, "anything with some fucking feeling!", says MB.
